I look forward to the upcoming reunion and seeing old friends and getting acquainted with some of the 700 plus classmates that I didn't know while at W&L. I am appreciative to all of those who have made this first reunion at a five year interval a reality.

As to what I have been doing for the last 45 years since graduation: I received a BS in Social Sciences from the Univ. of Nebraska (Teachers College) 1971. While there, I participated in a semester exchange program with Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, AL. I was a teacher on Omaha Indian Reservation in 1971. I received an MA in Social Gerontology from the Univ. of South Florida in 1974 with my graduate internship in DC with the Federal Administration on Aging (HEW). My career has focused on the not-for-profit side of senior housing and health care in California where I currently serve as President and CEO of a corporation operating continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) with sites in Oakland and the Monterey Peninsula. When not at work, I'm active in small animal rescue work and make all too infrequent visits to a second home located in the historic district of downtown Tucson, AZ.
