After graduation I “attended” U. Va. for year and half. I worked briefly and then was, no surprise here, drafted. I served in Vietnam during 1968. Post Army I bounced around until I landed in graduate school at Duke University in August of 1979. I came out with a Ph.D. in Sociology and a job in computer support for the University System in North Carolina. I moved into networking and eventually ended up at AT&T where I am today. I am in my second marriage and have two wonderful daughters. I brew beer, play with all my technology, go to Durham Bulls games mostly for the fireworks, cheer for Duke Basketball and maintain our 1930 built home.
