After WL, I attended Ohio University but dropped out, married and had two children - a boy and a girl. Stayed home with them for 10 years then decided to return to the university for my degree. Graduated from GW with a BBA in Accounting and worked as a staff accountant with Touche Ross. Unfortunately while I loved the job I found being a single mom and busy season did not work. I applied for a contract internship with the U.S Navy in Crystal City which turned out to be a great job and terrific opportunity. I received two separate fellowships resulting in both an MBA in Finance from AU and a Masters in Strategic Resource Management, from ICAF. Subsequently, became part of the Navy's senior leadership team as Director, Surface Weapon Systems. Specifically I was responsible for acquiring all of the Navy's surface ship capabilities. At 55 I retired and set up my own consulting firm - KMM Enterprises. There I provided acquisition expertise to the federal government, as well as large and small private industry. In the fall of 2012, I retired for good and moved full time to the Florida Keys. I live on Florida Bay and stay busy with tennis, golf, workouts, boating, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling and goofing off with my buddies. I am looking forward to returning to Arlington and attending the Reunion.
